At East Richmond Nurseries Inc. - ERNI - we strive to grow and sell only top quality plants. We spend the
extra time to prune, fertilize and weed at the right time. It does cost a little more, but the outcome
is worth the extra effort.
Plants grown in our fields are fertilized with a custom blend of fertilizer that is mixed to our
specifications and for the type of tree or shrub. We prefer this method rather than a general mix which
might not have the specific micro-nutrients that certain plants require. We also use the IPM approach to
weed and pest control. After all, we live at the nursery and prefer to co-exist with nature rather than
beat nature into submission.
We also take pride in our plant knowledge - our attitude is "right plant, right place". With a combined
total of more than 50 years experience, out sales team will assist in ensuring the plants you choose are
right for the environment you plan for them.
